Tides of Change: Blue Action Lab Launches Education Initiative

Blue Action Lab Tides of Change Education Program
The GB Queen Conch Mariculture team shares conch education with local schools

Our non-profit arm, Blue Action Lab, is proud to announce the launch of our educational program, Tides of Change: Blue Action Education. This program is designed to raise awareness and engage students in understanding the impact of climate change on small island nations, specifically focusing on the Bahamas.

Through in-school talks, Tides of Change will provide students with key information about climate change and its effects on their communities, offering them the tools they need to take action in their own lives.

The program will cover practical ways to support the environment at home and explore the ongoing restoration efforts led by Blue Action Lab at its renowned Conservation Cove.

Additionally, Blue Action Lab is offering Tides of Change school tours to Conservation Cove, inviting schools from across The Bahamas - not just Grand Bahama- to experience the impact of restoration efforts first-hand. These tours provide students with a unique opportunity to engage in environmental education and witness the tangible steps being taken to restore local ecosystems.
