Blue Action Lab joined forces with FutureBARBADOS, a think tank from the Prime Minister’s Office in Barbados, to drive the development and scaling of climate-resilient technologies and coastal resilience models throughout the Caribbean. In this edition, we are excited to share a letter from Tamaisha Eytle, Project Director at FutureBARBADOS.

Dear Partners,

Our oceans are more than a resource—they are the common thread that connects our histories, cultures, and futures. As we work to unlock the highest value from the ocean economy, we must do so with intention, ensuring that innovation is not just about technology and capital but about people, equity, and conservation.

This is why FutureBARBADOS is excited to work with Blue Action —because the future of ocean innovation depends on the right partnerships.

Together, we are shaping a space where bold ideas meet responsible stewardship, where the blue economy drives sustainable growth without leaving communities behind.

The Future is Blue, and by working collectively, we can build an ocean economy that is both prosperous and regenerative—one that honors the deep connections we all share to the sea.

Tamaisha
