SOARCE has a bold vision to create materials designed at the intersection between nature and performance. They have created a patented technology to regenerate biopolymers from seaweed into a multifunctional solution for textiles. They’ve already applied their polymer solution to be converted into high performing, plastic free leathers that are flame resistant, UV shielding, and antimicrobial. Soarce’s suppliers break down seaweed at large scales, which they can then turn into their proprietary, plastic free nano emulsion. This can then be transformed into technical fibres, leather alternatives, or an ingredient for joint developments.
